In the small haven of Aiyang, where the Aeons left their divinity in the hands of mortals, there was a maiden beloved by the heavens and earth all the same. Until, sin tainted her heart.
In the year 3543, a great catastrophe befell Akivili’s temple, the arch maiden– the next head priestess in line, in fact– devoured the fragment of gods, and her vile existence was punished befittingly. On the lightless night of the new moon, the newly made immortal was cast into the Obscure Chasm of Terminus, the final destination of all that provoked heavenly order, to exist and repent in the void until Nihility would finally claim her.
But of course, history was written by the victors of its time. And of course, fate shall bring a force of retribution for a victory wrongly given. 1000 years passed by in a blink of the gods’ eyes, and karma’s harbinger had returned in full force.

It's a requirement for all Padawans to keep a journal of their training. When Obi-Wan introduces this to Anakin, he is not happy about it. But it's not for the reason that Obi-Wan thinks. All the other Padawans know how to read and write, having been trained in the temple from a very young age, but Anakin's past is darker, and there wasn't time for letters or stories.
(Anakin can't read and Obi-Wan takes like four chapters to find out)

So enjoy these empty reads, these palate cleansers, and have no fear of not retaining any information imparted. There wasn't supposed to be any.
