Growing up with too much love in your being made Suzuki realize that if he fell in love, he cannot afford to be rejected because that would break his heart he had so desperately tried to protect for most of his life. So, he puts it into his dance, that way, he could give it away without the chance of getting hurt. (No one could suspect of him longing for someone to be by his side, even when he was scared.)
Then Sugiki fucking Shinya appears, and suddenly, he’s all Suzuki can think about. How he was the textbook example of a perfect gentleman. Composed, respectful, disciplined. But when he saw him dance, he couldn’t help but think that a crucial component needed for dancing was missing from the man.
It was a good thing he had many in store. However, years of hiding cannot undo all the restrictions he placed himself in. So, they begin a tug of war with no clear vision of what’s going to happen next.// or, if suzuki was afraid of loving people and sugiki was a bit bolder and more vocal.
