Kai pokes his head out, curious, and his eyes fall on a stranger balancing a stack of boxes, shoulders straining under the weight. For a moment, Kai doesn’t breathe.
Pretty.
The man freezes. Slowly, he lifts his head, and their eyes meet. Kai’s stomach plummets straight through the floor.
Then the stranger smiles. Kai sees the faintest hint of pink brush his cheeks, like maybe he isn’t used to compliments blurted out so honestly.
“Thanks,” he says simply.
Kai’s heart seizes.
The full horror dawns on him in a rush: he said that out loud. He called his new neighbour pretty. To his face. Within five minutes of the man even moving in.
Kai's cats keep playing matchmaker between him and his pretty new neighbour.

Summary
Complex note gradually getting more complex and higher, and after picking the highest, it slowly got softer and sadder note. Then slowly it built up to dramatic romanticism note, and it reached it's highest just like that, after that slow note of only dramatization hit it's highest. Then sad yet soft and hopeful note gradually built up, ending in climax.
If Beomgyu weren't wrong, it was Kreisler Love's Sorrow. He heard it from Soobin. Was this how Kai imagined themselves now? Like a lost love? But Beomgyu never wanted to make it like this.

Beomgyu was used to being pushed aside by him, the only boy he ever swore to hate — or to love — until the bones in his knees wore down, weakened after colliding with the harshness of his tears for so long. It didn't really matter. Shouldn't matter, anyway. "We're alike, by the way."
Wow.
"So alike, but it's different somehow."
Beomgyu forced a laugh. "Now I'm offended."
just a story about two people who were never supposed to love each other but did anyway, in the worst way possible. this is how choi beomgyu exploded.

“No, Yeonjun-ssi,” The blond shook his head but Yeonjun wasn’t convinced. Poor guy was probably too embarrassed to admit it. Yeonjun wouldn’t push but he decided then and there he decided he would keep the other safe.
“Let me go first in case it’s scary” Yeonjun smiles. “And call me hyung. No need to be so formal.”
“Uhh sure. Go ahead, Yeonjun-ss- um hyung.”
He was such a good hyung. He steps in front of the man, walks toward the open door, and is promptly met with cobweb to the face. Yeonjun jumped back, nearly colliding with Kai. He feels the other take a step back and hold his back to stabilize both of them.

How did Yeonjun end up in a horror escape room when he only intended to be an unwilling chaperone on his best friends first "not date yet because they refuse to talk about it".
