Summary
Welcome! This is the first story in Sayuri's Chronicles and would acts as a prequel to what happened in RWBY: Death Blossom chapter 15-16 by Azures284 so you can understand more about Sayuri. For those who are new to my story and characters, I'll recommend you to read "A glimpse into the world of Sayuri" in the first part of this series before reading this to have more information about what's happening here and who Sayuri is.
Ok, a little bit context about the story. Basically this is a journey into the mind of Sayuri when she just retired from the battlefield. She thought that a normal life is easy for a veteran, but the demons of the past only wait til this day to surface, trying to drag her down the pit of despair, guilt and self-loathing. Can she overcome this situation? Yes. No. Maybe. You'll have to wait til the end to find out.
As always, I only own my OCs while the rest of the characters belong to their respective companies/authors

Ruby Rose is a vampire, Weiss and Blake are vampire hunters, and as for Yang? Well, she hasn't quite decided yet. Ever since Ruby turned, she has wondered just who in the world bit her baby sister. Ruby and Blake wonder the same just as much as her, but Weiss is the only one on the team who doesn't know yet.
How will she find out? Who's the culprit? What will be Ruby's fate? What will Yang do? What will be her occupation? You may start to think that maybe Yang will go searching for said vampire and question them, and you'd be right, but that will be up for debate.
