Gotham is definitely not the usual place people decide to go for a Vacation. Danny's not really planning on staying long, but after a while being on the road every day kinda gets old. The city has a large population, ectoplasm, and enough bullshit going on the GIW probably won't think to start up a branch for a while at least.
It's not like he can go home, anyway.
So he's just gonna lay low, get his feet underneath him, and then figure out what to do from there.
Grundy however didn't wait for him to explain any of that. Undead kid needs to lay low? Well, Grundy's got the perfect place for that! Can't get much lower than the sewers in Gotham, right?

Summary
Just because they are all out of high school and have begun their adult lives does not mean things will get boring with Seto Kaiba opening a portal to another dimension. It is only a matter of when the next monster or threat will appear. Magic, once hidden, is now out in the open, and people who used to be hidden are now beginning to appear. Mundane things also keep the gang on their toes. Families are extended. Drama will surely happen, and trying to live a normal life when you know none of these people can have one will also bring some challenges. Things I have been hinting at in the other stories of Raise the Sun will finally be revealed. This is the last story after all.
This story will only end at the end of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, so yes, the trouble you see in GX will also affect the gang and their families. Let's see what problem they are going to get into this time.
