It's the summer of 1972 and Sapphire is a girl who's enjoying her life and the way she is. She's having a great summer playing baseball with her three best friends Hayley, Jenny, and Penny. That is until these five boys come around and somehow ruin it by saying girls can't play BASEBALL. The girls and the boys get to know each other better later on, and Sapphire eventually falls in love with one of them. That boy's name is Tarqell. Other than that, she has a bit of a secret that she thinks will ruin her love life because Tarqell along with the other boys heard of the story of 'The Great Fear'. The idea of Soulmates, while often causing more conflict than it resolves, had generally been accepted as a reason for otherwise reasonable people to do extraordinarily stupid things.
Why else would John Silver have gotten on a merchant vessel destined to head right through pirate territory?

Whole story summary: I am rewriting Black Sails, but with two changes. First, in addition to giving DuFresne a backstory and a first name, I also gave him an evil twin brother. (It's supposed to be like Jannes Eiselen is the good brother and Roland Reed is the evil brother, though there is a little overlap in season 2.) Secondly, I created a new female character, who is the center of the story.
Part I starts with original content. Chapter 4 is where the show starts. Each season has its own part, hence there will be four parts.
Chapter 1 summary: French nineteen-year-old Simonne Augustine Dubois always wanted to be a pirate, and after a long journey she's about to come face-to-face with a crew of buccaneers. Will she be able to convince the captain to let her join the crew?
