This is my first time writing Alfie Solomons. This is a younger, World War I Officer Alfie. He's shell-shocked and brutalised by what he's seen and done and he's in a brothel. Warning: there is a quite graphic discussion of war, trauma, shellshock/PTSD and then eventual smut. NSFW.
This fic was also written in acknowledgement of the Centenary of the end of World War One, one of the most brutal conflicts in history.
