Nothing happens. The solution stays yellow, not a drop of pink in sight. Neither of them say a word, with only the sound of the chemicals falling into the conical flask filling the small space they’ve made for themselves in this tiny corner of the science lab.
Zuko’s the first to break the silence. Tentatively, as if anything less than the most careful of tones would shatter the fragile atmosphere of anticipation and confusion they’ve created, he says, “Is this… supposed to be happening?”
Sokka’s eyes flick to Zuko’s, blue meeting gold, both equally confused, as he slowly turns his head towards him and says, “I don’t… know?”
Piandao frowns at their set up and hums.
“Hmm,” he says, his voice coloured with a few drops of disappointment but none of surprise. “These are both… sodium hydroxide. You just titrated an alkali… into an alkali.”

Elliott Smith mouthed off to the wrong people at school and now has to hide from them to avoid an ass-whoopin'. He hides in a classroom that turns out to be the school science lab in constant use by the very intelligent but also very eccentric WIlliam Vanderhausen.
William thinks Elliott has come to be his 'assistant' which is what William calls those he uses as test subjects for his experiments. Said experiments always seem to wind up being very painful for the 'assistants'.

Tsuna has never had a dental checkup due to a huge fear of going to the dentist. Gokudera sees this as an opportunity to show his dedication to being Tsuna's right-hand man and also show how much he cares about the Vongola heir being in good health.
Gokudera is even willing to go through intense dental training to help out his boss, as it seems Tsuna has a few teeth that are in need of repair and he remains too afraid to see a dentist.
