Evelyn Deavor is dead.
Syndrome is dead.
And so are most of the heroes form the Glory Days. The few that are left get the chance to rebuild the lives and legacies of the world's greatest heroes, and once again be part of society.
It should be the happy ending. But Gamma Jack can't shake the feeling the none of this should have happened in the first place. Maybe it's because his feelings around his friend Simon were left unresolved. Maybe it's because this means returning to his A-level monitoring and mandatory lab testing. Maybe it's because everything just seemed to work out too perfectly.
Whatever it is, Jack is going to find out what secrets were at play over the past 15 years. But the superhero "Gamma Jack" might not be the right person for the job...

Time changes people, and Gamma Jack is no exception. Once a powerful hero, he is now a chronically tired nuclear pharmacist that enjoys his quiet, routine life in suburbia. His peace is shattered when his former life as Gamma Jack comes calling, and with his initial refusal, making his old friends and former supers try to convince him to rejoin their ranks. Among them is Simon AKA Gazerbeam, a former comrade harboring long secret feelings for Jack, who sees this forced reunion as the perfect opportunity to finally act on their desires.

An Incredibles fanfic set in the late 1970s (some four years after the events in the movies, according to my headcanon) against the backdrop of looming civil war and the rise of a far-right, anti-Super, anti-Anthro political movement.
When a Nazi hunt goes hideously wrong and civilians are killed as a result, Mirage is transferred to New York City. But when fate takes a hand and the Parrs are outed as Supers, they too are forced to flee to New York. There they meet new friends and enemies, and even reunite with a few old faces. But when Helen, Violet and Mirage learn that a notorious Nazi collaborator/war criminal/Holocaust perpetrator from the Ukraine is living in the Big Apple, a group of Soviet superheroes are called in as part a groundbreaking joint operation to catch the war criminal and when Violet starts a love affair with one of the Soviet Supers, that's when things really start to get interesting.

A girl named Katie starts at Violet's school, but she seems a little off. Not necessarily bad off; just off. And Violet is not the only one who sees her this way. While becoming close with Violet, Katie seems particularly interested in a certain topic that might threaten secrets.
Meanwhile, Katie is a very intelligent girl who just started in a public school after being homeschooled her entire life. She always seems to be a little standoffish towards people, not wanting to get close to them. Katie enjoys spending time with Violet; however, there is a chance she could have ulterior motives.
Are these motives bad or simply misguided? And what might her reasoning for these be? Is there more to her story, and the story of countless supers, for that matter? And what happens when an even worse enemy than before returns with an even worse artillery?

She has a plan to bring the Supers back into the spotlight, but unfortunately there's only so much she can do with the little information available. After the supers ban was made official, the NSA had their work cut out for them, engineering new, normal lives for those once believed to be gods. Day after day, supers were reduced to a single file, liabilities to be “dealt with.”
The nightmare was almost over, with only one man left to deal with—Jackson Hart, better known as Gamma Jack.
No female supers fit the mold well enough to be assigned to play house with Jack, and even if they could withstand his toxic abilities (and personality), it would just be plain cruel to subject any woman to a life married to the guy.
Fortunately, there was one person who fit the profile the NSA was looking for: immune to the light spectrum, and by proxy, Jack. Strong enough to hold their own. The one person who wasn’t afraid of him. Unfortunately for Jack, that person happened to be a man.

Which is made complicated as his PTSD from the island is interfering with his health, Simon’s death is still hovering over every decision he makes, and now a mysterious man by the name of Winston Deavor has offered him, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone the chance to legalize supers again.
Jack has the scars from the last deal he made that was too good to be true, and he can’t bring himself to trust Winston, or his shadow of a sister, Evelyn, but Jack has lost too many friends to let Bob, Lucius, and Helen get in trouble.
