Most of the story is about character's connections to one another and how those relate to surviving life as part of the branch family.
Content Warnings: The story delves deeply into abusive traumas and crippling injuries. Individual chapters have relevant warnings. Graphic sexual violence will *not* be a part of this story though, and is only referenced abstractly.
