Summary
In between tormenting Vash, Q has noticed the lone Cardassian on DS9 has a small but notable set of honkers. Shame they'd normally never live up to their full potential... but he can fix that.
(Sorry this fic idea has haunted me on and off for 2 or 3 years and I need to exorcise it). -

Summary
“It transpires that good ol’ Benji is much easier to provoke than any of your crew have ever been,” Q continues, shaking Picard out of his musing. “Even Worf has never physically attacked me, much as he might have wished to at times. His vaunted Klingon honour wouldn’t permit it.”
Q is looking down and fidgeting with his hands as he says this, and it takes a moment for Picard to understand the significance of his words and realise what Q has just implied.
“He hit you?” Picard exclaims, disbelief colouring his words. “Sisko physically hit you?”
Not taking his eyes away from his hands, Q nods once in confirmation, and Picard feels like he’s been hit in the gut himself.
No wonder Q had flinched away from him earlier.

Summary
“The rest of the funds are scattered throughout your various holdings,” the stranger continues. “Besides the fact that it wouldn’t all fit in this intolerably tiny space you inhabit, I suspected you would be less than willing to advertise your newfound wealth to your kinsmen.”
Quark nods absent-mindedly, his shock slowly fading as his well-honed business mind starts to turn. That is more latinum than half the Alpha quadrant combined, and he can’t help a flicker of suspicion cross his mind that this must be counterfeit, or a scam of some kind.
And if it is, Quark wants to work out how to replicate it, or turn it to his own advantage as quickly as possible.
—
Or, what would happen if Q felt honour bound - and mischievous enough - to pay Quark the million bars of gold pressed latinum he bid at the auction on DS9?
