Anakin is a natural rebel, impulsive. He is desperate for love, and to save someone in the hopes that that will save him, too. What happens when the person doesn't want, or even think they need saving.
Anakin feels too much where Shira feels too little. Shira, really, couldn't care less about him. Anakin shouldn't feel this much about her.
Pretty toxic, might be more wholesome later, but I don't know.
