After a terrible childhood accident which left her paraplegic and forcibly made into a cyborg , Alex Stossel is rescued from the fate of her fellows by an underground society for the liberation of 'mechs' like her. Raised in the arms of this organization, Alex's life is tumultuous but safe until she meets university student Natalie Joshi in a botched robbery. The girls quickly fall into a relationship, but their situation is dangerous and outside forces threaten to tear them, and Alex's family, apart.

The war is over. The Autobots won. With a sadistic Sentinel at the helm of Cybertron, backed by his equally deranged guard, things are even worse than before the war. All Decepticons still online are imprisoned at first, but then things go steadily worse. For those unwanted, there's an end destination: the pound. Not everybot is so fortunate to leave that place active.
This drabble fic will show the mechs coming in and out of that place, as well as glimpses from their life in the clutches of their new masters.

Except for Chuck, which is even worse, because he’s recovering from a memory wipe, and Chilton’s gonna hurt him if he’s not careful.
If Rich has to sit in on their hot, touching... reunion to make sure they both stay okay, that’s just what he’ll have to do.

Bucky's back was pressed against the cold floor and he stared through blurry eyes as Steve stood over him. He was trying to push himself as far away as he could, using his hands and bare feet to slide himself out from between Steve's legs but he couldn't find purchase against the wooden floor. Steve's legs were locked on both sides of his hips and Bucky couldn't move, couldn't get away, and the room was swimming before his eyes and he couldn't focus, couldn't think straight. All he could make out was the hazy figure of Steve towering over him and he lifted his arm to push uselessly at Steve's shin.
"P-please," Bucky whispered. His voice was weak, like him, and his jaw trembled as Steve reached down.
Steve slid down onto the floor and effortlessly gathered him into his strong arms, cradling Bucky to his chest as he leaned against the wall. "Bucky," Steve breathed. One of his large hands slid gently into Bucky's hair, the other curving against his spine and pulling him even closer. "You're mine now, remember?"
Steve's grip tightened then it all went black.

in which evil steve is destructively possessive, obsessed with bucky, kidnaps him to try and force a relationship. rare villain fic that doesn't try to make the villain sympathetic or blame it on mental illness. gets you into steve's head and makes you feel his loneliness and reasoning for his actions without also trying to make excuses for his abuse.
intense, visceral emotions, especially the palpable panic and fear from bucky's POV. the domestic violence elements feel *so* real.
fics that made me cry...and have panic attacks...and nightmares...and then come back asking for more
