Summary
After a devastating layoff from Joja Corporation, Molly Sinclair decides to follow her grandpa's final advice and become the author of her own story. She retreats to Crystalbrook Farm, the idyllic place she spent many happy summers in her youth. But she gets more than she bargained for in tiny Pelican Town: a weed-ridden farm in disrepair, nosy neighbors, strange creatures, unexplainable phenomena... and a handsome, reclusive writer who threatens to capture her heart.
Elliott Bouchard has always had his head in the clouds—a necessary skill for an aspiring author, in his opinion. He doesn't quite believe in wishes, but he doesn't disbelieve in them, either. So he makes a spur-of-the-moment wish on the Winter Star and finds himself caught completely off guard by the answer. Nothing he's ever experienced, real or imaginary, could have prepared him to be swept off his feet by the devastatingly beautiful new farmer in town.

Summary
Some of the stories of Alex's early life, starting from his early childhood living in inner Zuzu City with his parents and spending holidays in Pelican Town, leading to his mother's death and Alex's permanent move to his grandparents' house. This series will deal with some of his struggles in school, with making friends, and the relationships he has not just with his grandparents but the rest of the townsfolk, and even his parents. Alex's grief and trauma continue to shape him and effect his decisions throughout the series, giving a better understanding of the man the farmer meets on their arrival to Pelican Town.
Tl; dr: Alex's childhood in a series of vignettes and snapshots.
Written for DecembAlex 2025, these will be ordered chronologically, as they happen to Alex, rather than in publishing date order.

Pomni rolled on the bed to the other side. She was anxiously staring at the wall of her room. The dark shades of red devoids of artificial light looked like any other morning. It had been almost a month since anyone had gone on any adventures, and it was starting to become very worrisome, to say the least. Every day without adventures began to look the same. Open your eyes, get out of bed, be greeted by an increasingly unenthusiastic Ragatha, walk to the dining room, stare at the food, listen to less and less frequent conversations of the other cast members and return to your room to not (at all) think about the impending cataclysm. Caine appears sporadically, calling them with increasingly strange scrolls to greet them, only to disappear together after a while with Bubble for the rest of the day.
What is happening with Caine? Is Circus in danger? What is corn having to do with anything? Is Pomni will be sane after that mess?
