In the ruins of the earth life still goes on, and the spaces between life. Where the sand and snow buries all of the lost treasures of humanity, that is where the Gamma Wolves are found.
The 06th Mech Company has long since lost it's origin, but now it's a bastion for runaways and downtrodden. All nationalities and backgrounds are welcomed aboard and given hope and a chance to earn an honest living.
That's how Catie found herself here, far away from the place she once called home; and even further from the people she called family.
