Dandy had changed into his Twisted form too many times, and now he’s stuck. Meaning that Astro is now in charge- something he’d rather lick a cheese grater than do, but the toons need him.
Even though the ichor operation is done, there’s still some Twisteds- violent, bloodthirsty ones- who need to be fixed. With Dandy being right at the front of them.
Now, Astro must balance his new role as a leader, trying to restore toons twisted beyond repair, and trying to fix Dandy- even if other toons don’t really want him back.

I really like the dynamic these two have, and I do think when Bassie figured out that she doesn't have to worry about Delilah's opinion anymore, she's more than a main that needs to be replaced. She can depend on others without issues.
This is a character study/romance, as I plan to have them together at the end and for them to be happy, especially since they both deserve it. I hope this is accurate. Hahaha
