Viserys bemoaning the loss of his son knowing full well that Aemma would have been gruesomely killed for his son to live will forever have my disdain. Domeric seems a decent man, so much so that I think Jon and Daenerys's biggest secret would be safe with him. Lord Manderly is looks like a rational, proper person as well. I wonder what they think of Jon privately and, in extention, of Brandon Stark. Do they see the benefits of Jon's predictable, firm and just rule as opposed to Brandon's violent, whimsical one? Do they suspect Jon's not who his uncle presents him to be? Isn't it even obvious from their everyday dealings with him that that Jon doesn't add up with "rapist" Jon behind his bedroom doors? Also, god damnit i forgot that in the story XL is only 19. Poor kid. Having to deal with the ramifications of a war, the tyranny of JW, being criticized for everything, always walking on eggshells that have explosives that could go off any second regardless of if you break the shell around it or not. And now the poor kid has been assaulted as well. I don't know who from, I wouldn't want to think JW bc that would be wildly wrong and frankly supremely messed up. But I can also see it as much as I hate it. But I can also see that someone from court, when XL first came out would have been tempted.Also HC FINALLY realized that XL has nothing going on with his concubines. Thank god, I don't know how much longer I could have taken his obliviousness. Love (and the jealousy resulting from it) really does make you blind!
