The wind lifts the cranes up from the pond, and they swirl up into the sky. Some cranes become unfolded, revealing the secrets hidden in them. Saki catches glimpses of music scores, with multicoloured circles and handwritten notes on them.
There’s also cranes folded from her school notes, as well as some assessments — she embarrassingly recognises the first assessment she’d ever had, where she barely scraped by with a pass.
The wind blows against her face, causing her hair to fly wildly in the air, and Saki grins widely, her heart bursting with elation. In just a year, she’s been able to do so much, and she’s had so, so much fun. Her body feels light and giddy with joy, and even as hair strands poke at her eye, she brushes them away, a bright, wide smile on her face.
She’s free.

Cyra sat next to her, holding the remote in star’s hand. A new TV sat in front of the two on a set of cabinets, big and bright. It was a little irritating, if the planet was being honest. But that was to be expected. She had woken up pretty recently and immediately went downstairs, only to find her best friend watching a random show before star had to leave for… something. Earth didn’t know what, and honestly didn’t want to ask. It was star’s business, not hers.

Helwa, helpfully, feigns collapse after a beat and sprawls her legs out dramatically to simulate death.(1)
