In other words: Grantaire makes a drunken advance, Enjolras scorns him but discovers something about himself in the process. Despite this they continue foreward. Hurt/Comfort ensues as Enjolras works through his past allwhile still pledging himself to the Revolution. Grantaire grapples with his persistent feelings of inadequacy.
Furthermore, how would that balmy June night at the barricade ended differently if Enjolras had something to live for and Grantaire were permited to do more than die by him?

After the barricade fell Enjolras and Grantaire need to figure out how to live together. The fire of revolution still burns in Enjolras's belly, and for Grantaire, old habits die hard.
