In the past, Kaveh has been unsuccessful in his many, many attempts to badger Alhaitham into admitting he has opinions about sex at all. Cyno and Tighnari seem largely unbothered by this – if Alhaitham didn't want to join them, he simply wouldn't – but Kaveh, who thrives on affirmation and wilts without praise, demands the satisfaction of hearing that he is wanted directly from Alhaitham's obstinate mouth.
Now that Kaveh's found a foothold, he's doggedly determined to make something of it.

Alhaitham's eyes narrow in suspicion as he calculates what that sly look could entail.
“Actually,” Kaveh drawls, leaning forward until his elbows rest on Alhaitham's thighs. Their noses bump together. Alhaitham stares steadily back at him, impassive as stone, as Kaveh flutters his eyelashes. “I have something more challenging in mind, if you think you can handle it.”

“Unlike Sumeru, where everything wants to eat you,” Kaveh quips. “Giant scorpions and spinocrocodiles and Rishboland tigers, that's what we offer tourists.”
