“You’ve spent the last fifteen minutes explaining to a complete stranger why she’s living the wrong way. I can qualify it as ‘saving’. And as you know, if a person runs to save someone, it means that they run away from themself and their problems.”
The man was silent for a long time, and Marinette thought that maybe there was no need to attack him with this tirade…

Prompt: Marinette dials a bakery customer's number to ask for an order, but dials a wrong number. She gets involved in a fascinating conversation with an interesting stranger, which develops into calls to each other every evening and endless texting, until they arrange a meeting.

“Hey, Fathom,” she whispered to him menacingly, “Move your leg, it’s bothering me!”
His lips curved into a smug grin. “Won’t even dream of it,” he whispered in response, turning his head slightly towards her without taking his eyes off the screen. “I’m quite comfortable the way I sit. You can change seats if you’re dissatisfied here.” He added, and it seems his grin became even wider.
Marinette narrowed her eyes at him, not intending to give up even on his territory. “Enjoying yourself, aren’t you?” She challenged, preparing for the fight. “I’m quite comfortable, too,” she assured him smugly and swung the leg his knee was touching right over his thigh so that it now hung between his spread legs.
A grin slipped from his lips and Felix looked down from the screen and stared intently at her leg between his thighs, then looked up at Marinette with a level, unreadable gaze.
“What, Fathom, is there something that doesn’t suit you anymore?” Marinette asked, raising her eyebrows.

Her train of thought was interrupted when Marinette saw Felix on the roof, walking with an irritated gait right towards the fire exit. Did Chat throw him here as well?!
“Hey, blondie!” Her own voice came from behind her as Marinette was put back on her feet. She turned around sharply, coming face to face with Ladybug, who turned out to be the one who actually caught her at the entrance to the building and threw her onto the roof.
“Will you look after her for me?” Ladybug continued, completely unmoved by Marinette’s dumbfounded look. “This girl keeps rushing towards Akuma. I don’t know what her deal is, but it’s dangerous, and I don’t have time to watch her myself!”
Marinette didn't know what was harder for her to believe in: that Ladybug, who was supposed to be her, was standing right in front of her at the moment, or how brazenly this impostor was lying, making her out to be some kind of absurd Alya-Cesaire-style-fan in front of Felix, who, meanwhile, stopped and looked from Marinette to Ladybug and back, frowning.
