"I did." Morpheus nodded. Hob stepped closer to him and looked him right in the eyes.
"It must have taken you a long time."
"It was worth every second."

"I am bloody and dirty. I fear to stain your hands with my filth," Hob whispered out, still looking away. A few tears gathered in his eyes and he blinked them away, he had enough of showing such weakness in front of his Stranger.
It all stopped when he felt a cold hand on his cheek. His mouth opened in surprise, the touch was soft, so soft, as if his Stranger was afraid Hob would break under it.
"Stain them. I do not care."
