I can totally see your point, first person does feel a lot more immersive (even though for me it feels more like a good friend directly telling me the story rather than me experiencing it myself... if that makes sense? lol). I've never ever written in first person before and I don't really know what made me do it for this story. Probably because Gao Shide seemed a bit aloof and mysterious for the first half of the season and we never quite knew what his motives were. So I wanted to get a little closer to him and his narrative, I guess.
Anyway, I'm happy you overcame your aversion and still read the story, thank you so much 💗. I'm so glad you liked it (and also the other one😄).
