    Changing the way AO3 tags are set up would take a significant overhaul of how the tagging system works, so it's not something we're planning to implement right at this moment.
    We recommend taking a look at this unofficial browser script: AO3: Reorder Tags with Drag & Drop which helps give you a bit more control over your tag order. If you're not familiar with browser scripts, check out our Unofficial Browser Tools FAQ.
