“Is very far from entrance to house,” Ilya said, brushing lightly past Shane to assess the space.
“That’s a new one,” Shane noted, his eyes narrowing. “No problem. If we have to keep looking, I’ll keep that in mind. Any reason why? Sore after the games, or…?”
“No.” Ilya shook his head, his gaze trailing over Shane from head to toe before drifting slowly back up and settling on the wide set of his cupid’s bow. “I just do not need guests to see whole house before I get them into bed.”
OR: Ilya doesn’t want a new home, but he definitely wants his real estate agent.

Dr. Shane Hollander is in trouble. Working as a criminal psychologist means he has seen some pretty terrifying stuff. Deaths and dismemberment is an everyday thing. However, amorous letters from the very same serial killer he's been trying to capture for the past 4 years? Not an everyday thing.
Enter Detective Ilya Rozanov. His transfer to Ottawa from the Russian special forces was super hushed, but one thing is for sure. He has friends in big places. And enemies too.
Shane hates everything about Ilya. His stupid tattooed body, his cocky demeanor, the way he seems to bleed violence even when he stands still. And Ilya is not Shane's biggest fan either. This is just a mission for him. In and out, as always. Nothing personal.
But again, a dead body holding a rose on Shane's doorstep at midnight is starting to feel pretty personal to him.

There are countless TikToks now—not even from hockey fans, just regular people—posting about his husband in tight white briefs that leave very little to the imagination. Every sports show seems obligated to mention Shane Hollander’s Calvin Klein campaign. It’s inescapable in a way neither of them had expected.
At first, Ilya thought it was fun. He was glad the world finally saw his husband as the sexy, talented man he’d always known him to be. He liked interacting with fan posts and edits, even sending them to Shane just to watch the way his face would immediately redden.
But now, the public reaction is a little… much.
