Yeah, it is. Eddie looks down at his finger, the one that’s been operating on autopilot while he’s been lost in his thoughts, and watches as it finishes rounding out the curve of the final e.

“Harrington!” Eddie cheers when Steve comes into view. Grinning, he offers him a dramatic curtsy. “You’re a sight for sore eyes, especially down here.”

“Ghosts of Christmas present?” He asks instead. “The future even?”
Steve snorts. Dustin groans. Mike and Lucas shush them both. They’re taking this seriously.
Eddie thinks he can talk to ghosts now. Said he “saw the other side” when he almost died in the Upside Down and now he can communicate with people who can’t leave the mortal plane.
Or whatever. Steve can’t always remember everything Eddie says. He talks a lot.

Of course he’d end up breaking his damn ankle doing something he’s done a million times before. Of course he’d embarrass himself in front of Eddie, who definitely seemed to be flirting with him until he tripped and fell and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Of course his intentions of asking Eddie out on a real date got interrupted by making an ass of himself.
Robin pats his shoulder and sighs. “Well, could be worse.”
