      Did I finally find (again) the fabled fic that has been stuck in my brain for years trying to find it again and I only found it again because I was going through a chat with someone from a few years ago for another fic and by chance came across this fic again that I talked to them about? The answer is yes thank fucking god oh my gosh I was looking for this fic for so long!!!!!!!!

       

      Hey me!! This is THE fic!!! The shifter one, thought it had to do with the cliff, the hybrid all that jaz!! Just put enough keywords so in the future I can find it through it if I need to!

       

      The eyes!! The glowing amber/orange eyes!!!

      Taken captive and the others not knowing it's him cus they didn't know what he is (my mind remembered hybrid but I probably just used a substitute word as I didn't remember here it's just Anima)
      The fighting and healing fast and all that jazz and the bullet and cliff and finally Barnes recognizing the eyes

      Mind you my brain definitely twisted shit and might have taken parts from other fics, but this fic is definitely the one that I remembered, the one that stuck with me. Just cus parts of other fics got twisted with it in my brain doesn't change the fact it's the fic!!!!
      God I was looking for it for yearesss, even debated trying to post about it in places that help you find fics from what you remember about them

      This is SOOO that fic!!

      The Tony refusing to fight them and in particular Bucky (didn't remember the reason being that Bucky was the one tasked to follow his track when he slashed open the Hydra base) is ringing a bell soo hard

      Right right so I remembered the insane healing and that now makes sense as to why he didn't switch to human as the healing was keeping him alive, shifting back to human would stunt his healing and he'd die

       

      So he the cliff scene never happened, must have mixed it from another fic, but the rest is like 100% what I remembered

       

      Btw Tony is completely white, and I remembered Hybrid cus duh he def is one

      Albino king cheeta base but much much bigger, has antlers, massive paws housing razor-like claws, a longer than usual tail, larger than normal ears, long slits down the back that house wings

       

      Marking Iron Feline as that's the most.. dominant part of the creature he is

    What Struker couldn’t have foreseen, however, was that the pair would become partners in more than just the operative sense.

    An ambitious field-agent named Nick Fury sees it, though, and (along with a well-meaning rooky who owes him a favour or two) hatches a plan to catch and rehabilitate the lost Stark-heir and Sergeant; it was all going so well... until the Shield higher-ups tried to put them into separate holding cells...

      I think the reason I dislike different realities with several of the same ppl is because my memory is shit and I immediately forget who is from what reality and what reality is what. So attempt to help myself;

       1487 Universe ;
      Tao reaches to powers beyond her to save her reality from infinity fighting against itself

      Soul stone was acquired and corrupted (probably Thanos) and through the bonds, so were the rest of the Infinity stones
      Tony and Stephen Nexus points. Needed versions of them that are wielders of the Infinity stones, guardians and protectors.
      That's who Tao will be calling upon, and those we will meet, to cleanse the stones.

       

       

      1487 — Tony (Da Vinci) married to Stephen (McDreamy), they're soulmates. Universe has timeloops, known. Gamma radiation. Infinity breaking down. Neither Stephen or Tony are hero versions, Tony's a business man/genius and Stephen is a doctor, that's all. Now the mention of Afghanistan does carry some irony

      7001 — Stephen (Vincent) Warden of Power & Tony (Edward) Champion of Mind.
      Have a telepathic bond, and Stephen has apparently become a Living Sanctum, Tony's reactor is Green instead of blue (cus of Mind). In this AU the stone attached itself to Tony, not the program. Tony wasUltron. Has yellow eyes that he hides behind sunglasses

      344898 — Stephen Protector of Reality (Silver Fox) & Tony (Blue Eyes) Defender of Space
      Unnatural blue eyes, because of Extremis. Much different timeline and events, Loki is in a relationship with them here and used his bond with them to follow to the other universe, they created a Soul bond

      19999 aka MCU timeline — Stephen (Stranger Danger), Keeper of Time & Tony (Stark Raving) Steward of Soul
      Neat, things might be better for them in this fic because they're taken from just after Stephen views those future, before they fight Thanos
      Tony is unaware of his connection to Soul (which I like btw I always like MCU Tony connected to Soul <3 lmao I just got reminded of that one fic of Soul (sentient) and that Soul x Tony forever thing lolol. Want to find it again but I dunno which fic it is. HAS to be gravel's tho, that's just her writing style vibe), how his AI's have a Soul.

      Welp author made smth to help but eh too late already did this while reading before reaching end notes

      Sidenote; while the way the Stephens carry the stones is obviously, Blue Eyes has Space hidden in a pocket dimension (Loki taught him) while Edward has Mind hidden within a section of the reactor, when take our the reactor returns to the normal blue, instead of green from Mind

       

      Interesting, a trip back to MCU for Soul with the help of Loki
      Why am I at all not surprised by Tony's self sacrificing tendencies? Anyways Gamora saved

      Tony has paid a hefty price for the manoeuvre he did, claiming soul by sacrificing himself. He does not yet know the price.
      I'm trying to figure out if the price is Pepper, Morgan, both, or Tony's own Soul, humanity. Him not getting to die, similar situation to Mind's Tony but ofc slightly different

      Also btw a stone cannot kill it's wielder (does not count for stones of other universes), that's why the problem occured as Soul couldn't just let Tony go and be claimed by him, but also couldn't kill/accept Tony's self sacrifice

       

      Cleansing isn't enough, too late. Universe 1487 requires time travel. First Soul, sent to the Kamar Taj, then the Tony and Stephen of that universe, Obadiah to live, for them to become Iron Man and a master of the mystic arts, tho they will not really have the memories until they reach the date of today when they went back in time. Their paths will be fixed so they're ready for when Thanos comes for Soul who will be hiding on Earth

       

      Through Tao's relief over knowing she'll die in the rewritten timeline, she won't have to live infinity anymore, and her looking at the stone wielders... They're all to be immortal.

      Strange snorted. “I don’t think we want to be traversing the multiverse quite that often.”

      Tony waved a hand. “Nah, we can all meet in the middle. The Gap Junction. I bet anything that the others are already trying to find it.” Tony hadn’t started running any equations to try to find it—yet, at least. But he had plans to.
