What Is NiteArmor Week?
Five days (April 1-5) dedicated to the relationship between Bo-Katan Kryze and the Armorer from the The Mandalorian series. The event will feature daily prompts (provided by the community) meant to inspire creative works that celebrate their love. Each day is centered around a core theme, with seven to ten prompts based on quotes, tropes, relationship dynamics, and Mandalorian culture. Creators will be asked to use the chosen prompts as inspiration for art, writing, edits, and any other form of media they feel motivated to make.

APRIL 1 | TENSION: a strained state resulting from forces acting in opposition to each other.

APRIL 2 | TEMPERANCE: to temper or act as a counterbalancing force.

APRIL 3 | FLAME HARDEN: a hardened surface with a soft core.

APRIL 4 | REFORGE: to form again or fashion anew.

APRIL 5 | CRYSTALLINE: to take a definite form.

Starting from April 1, this collection will be open to post any works for Nitearmor Week! If you have any additional questions, feel free to send us an ask on tumblr @nitearmorweek.

Important Note: There has been an increased amount of negativity towards sapphics in fandom spaces. As real world horrors and hatred continue to seep into all facets of life, small moments of respite are hard to find. Especially with the compounding effects of intersectionality, BIPOC and trans women are often left out, ignored, or villainized in real life and fandom events alike. NiteArmor Week will not tolerate any form of hate or racism, both from the works created to the conduct of those involved.

Ways to Participate
Create - make content inspired by the ship! All forms of art, edits, fics, playlists, and fan generated content is welcome (as long as it is not stolen and/or breaks TOS).

Share - even if you don’t make something yourself, you can still participate by sharing what’s made by other participants! Make sure to reblog, retweet, and show off the beautiful work created for the ship.

Comment - enjoy what you see? Don’t forget to tell the creator! Share the love by telling authors, artists, and creators of any kind, how much you like their work! Please only spread positivity and joy.

Favorite - don’t forget to like and kudo what creators share! So much time and energy goes into creation, and it’s important we make sure our artists and authors know how loved and appreciated they are.

1. Who is running this event?
There are four mods organizing this event: @sapphicsparkles, @soloorganaas, @livelaughleia, and @armoralor on tumblr.

2. What kinds of content can be submitted?
Digital or traditional art, fanfic, poetry, playlists, edits, photos, cosplay, icons, graphics, and/or memes. If you have something in mind that’s not included here, feel free to send us an ask to confirm!

3. Are trans headcanons welcome? Always! Any and all characters featured in the content you create for NiteArmorer Week can be trans and/or nonbinary.

4. Are bisexual/pansexual/polysexual headcanons allowed?
Of course! All characters are welcome to be portrayed as any sexual, romantic, or gender identity. Bashing or negativity towards any LGBTQIA+ subgroup is grounds for immediate blocking and banning from all future participation.

5. Are depictions of polycules okay?
As long as the Armorer and Bo-Katan are involved, the more the merrier! For example, JediNiteArmor (Ahsoka/Bo-Katan/Armorer) is allowed.

6. May I include OCs in my submission? Absolutely, as long as the Armorer and Bo-Katan remain the focus of the work.

7. Can submissions be platonic in nature?
Definitely! If you see the Armorer and Bo-Katan as friends and want to show that aspect of their relationship off, you are welcome to participate in this week.

8. Is there a word minimum or art completion level required to submit?
Nope! Make as much or as little as you like.

9. Can I use fancasts or character inspirations outside of the actors that play Bo-Katan Kryze and the Armorer?
Yes! Feel free to redesign, recast, and recreate the characters in whichever way inspires you most!

10. Can I post what I create on other social media platforms?
Absolutely! While this event week only has an account on tumblr, you are welcome to share whatever you make to any/all of your other accounts. We may not be there to reblog it formally, but we will be cheering you on!

11. I don’t like NiteArmor and don’t want to see this!
Please blacklist/filter out the tags: nitearmor, nitearmorweek, and nitearmorweek2024 to prevent any of the posts related to this ship from appearing on your dash. Kindly review tumblr’s guide on how to do so (here) and refrain from commenting/posting negativity directly on the content creator’s work.

12. Are “toxic” or “taboo” elements and themes allowed?
The LGBTQIA+ community has a long interwoven history with the horror genre. Works describing horror and/or traditionally “unpalatable” tropes are absolutely allowed; we simply ask you clearly tag all possible triggers. Examples: blood, biting, cannibalism, murder, violence, monsters.

13. Are there any triggers that are not allowed?
This event will not be engaging with depictions of underage sex or rape (including dubious consent and nonconsent).

1. No racism, lesbophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, bigotry, or harassment of any kind will be tolerated towards participants, characters, or cast/crew of the show.

2. No AI generated content or stolen work will be accepted. This includes stolen gifs and edits.

3. Explicit & mature content is welcome but must be tagged and include the appropriate warnings.

4. Works may include other Star Wars characters, but the focus of each submission should be the Armorer and Bo-Katan.

5. Please do not speculate the personal lives or sexuality of the actors involved in the show. Kindly give the cast and crew privacy; fanfic about the actors (instead of the characters) is not allowed.

6. Anything related to bashing or hating on other characters and ships will not be accepted as a submission or interacted with.
