“Timbo, doesn’t go there.”
Duke glanced over, finding Tim standing by one of the cabinets, a plate loose in his hand. After a moment, a long moment that made Duke a little worried if he was being honest, Tim was finally moving again. He went to the next cupboard over, putting the plate in it’s rightful place.
There was still a full stack of plates on the bench though, a stack that Tim could have easily put that final plate on to bring the whole lot over.
Whatever, Tim had found the stack and he was finally bringing it over so Duke refocused on making sure his pot was fully done. He turned it over, inspecting the bottom for bubbles and-
The ceramic exploded just as Duke’s heart did.

Damian has an assignment that's due very soon. Cass notices that he's upset for some reason and checks up on him.
She brings Tim in to help with the assignment because he had read one of the books.
He brings Steph because she had read the other book.
She brings Jason because he's good at ranting about books.
He brings Dick because he had the same teacher Damian has now.
He brings Barbara because she saves her old assignments.
She brings Duke because he's the only A+ student.
Bruce doesn't contribute much but they let him join because he wants to spend time with his kids.
Alfred is an MVP with the food.

Summary
The dry room was small, spare jackets and snow pants still hanging from coat hangers high above the vents. While there was a door that led into the living area that Jason had gone for, Dick stayed exactly where he was instead, already tugging Damian a little further in so that the door leading to the metal grated entrance of the chalet was.
Damian didn’t fight the action, nor did he so much as glare as Dick began stripping the soaking wet gear from his body. Hell, he barely even blinked as Dick knelt fully in front of him, a hand on his stone cold cheek.
The humidity was already making Dick feel ill even as the warmth started soaking into his own bones. Not trusting Damian to remain on his feet for any longer, as soon as Damian was down to his thermals Dick gently coaxed him down onto the ground, his back pressed up against a wooden wall.
They’d been lucky that the dry room had retained this much heat in the time they had been gone, the vents pumping the warm air in connected to the very same fireplace that Jason was hopefully already working on reigniting.

Bruce steps fluidly into place, behind his sons, a practiced smile coming to him like second nature. Dick clasps his hands in front of himself. His back is straight; his expression soft. Tim grins brightly. He’s springy and energetic as he takes front and center before reaching for Damian’s shoulders, coaxing him into the foremost spot.
Jason shuffles beside Dick, fighting to keep his arms by his side and not crossed over his chest. He wonders if his smile looks contrived. Whether it belies the insincerity he feels. Damian tilts his head down at the floor, averting his eyes from the nonstop flashes for just a second before the back of Tim’s hand guides his chin back up.
In which three members of the Batfamily are media trained, having spent their entire lives in the public eye, while Jason doesn't think he'll ever adapt to the lack of privacy.
He doesn't think Damian will, either.
