Summary
Suzaku is a monster. For no one pure of heart could kill their best friend and get away with it. Years after the death of the previous emperor, Suzaku has dutifully taken up the mask of Zero, determined to follow Lelouch's final orders, even if it means hurting all of those around him. But when time seems to flow backwards and he's brought back to that fateful day in Shinjuku, he's determined to change the course of history and swear his loyalty to Lelouch from the beginning, as it should be.
Meanwhile, Lelouch is struggling to believe his eyes after he's brought back to the past. Summary
When Lelouch dies, all the obstinate hate in Suzaku's heart dies with him. The new Zero finds himself wishing that Lelouch had never been forced to go this far. He wishes that he could have blotted out the loneliness he saw in Lelouch's eyes as the supposed demon bled out upon his throne of lies. He never expects his wish to actually come true.
