Gilbert and Anne had already pulled apart from their last goodbye kiss, but their mouths still seemed to move as one. "I'll write to you," they said, voices overlapping the way their lips had only moments before.
"I have follow-up questions," she called, watching him board the Barrys' carriage.
"So do I," he replied, eyes fixed on the spot where she stood until her blue dress shrank in the distance and the thought of writing to her soon was the greatest comfort he had for the future.

**ALL DONE! I've had so much fun with this fic!**
Through a roommate switcheroo, Anne and Gilbert are stuck living together. Anne insists it will be a disaster because they can't stand each other...
There is no point to this except that I love roommate AUs and I wanted them to get drunk, play board games, fool around, and fall in love. They didn't know each other before the story begins.
