After getting everything cleaned up the expanded team dark began to pack up their things
"Fox, could you make a dimension travel device?" Shadow asked
"Uh sure why?" Tails asked
"Because Rouge has adopted a daughter and she is dating someone." Shadow said
"And she is?" Tails asked
Shadow pointed at Toga who was giving Midoriya and Uraraka hugs and kisses
"The one I saw drinking blood from the green-haired guy's arm?" Tails asked
"Yup. Don't judge." Shadow said
"I'm not! I'll work on it when we get back." Tails said
"Good." Shadow said
Rouge and Omega walked over
"So we're finally heading back?" Rouge asked
"Yes." Shadow said
"HOW UNFORTUNATE I WISHED TO DESTROY MORE VILLAINS." Omega said
"Don't worry big guy We'll destroy some bad guys." Rouge said, "Although I wonder if I can get maternity leave."
"If you can get maternity leave then I can get paternity leave." Shadow said with a smirk
"I guess we'll just have to see what Commander Tower says." Rouge said
"Tower? Like Abraham Tower?" Ghost Maria asked
"Yes, it's him. He has a grandkid now." Shadow said
"That's nice." Ghost Maria said
then Toga walked over to Rouge
"Hey, Mom... can you call me Himiko? I don't want to be called toga anymore." Himiko said, "I don't want to be connected to them."
"Of course dear." Rouge said with a small smile
Soon the preparations were set and a portal was opened
"Izuku Midoriya It was nice meeting you." Shadow said, "We will probably see each other again when Himiko takes you an ochako on a date in our world."
"Yeah! I can't wait!" Midoriya said
"Love you Izuku! Love you Ochako!" Himiko said
"Bye-bye!" Cream said waving
"Later darlings!" Rouge said
"ONE DAY I WILL RETURN TO CRUSH MORE VILLAINS." Omega said
"Bye!!" Class 1-A yelled
Soon everyone said their goodbyes and walked through the portal
The portal opened outside of cream's house
"Ah home sweet home." Sonic said "And now things can be peaceful."
"Shadow the hedgehog." Vanilla the rabbit said with an unnerving smile and a sandal in hand
"OH SHIT!" Shadow yelled before Running away
"or not." Sonic said facepalming
Eri was about to grab her sniper by was stopped by Rouge
"Nah let this happen." Rouge said as Shadow was hit by a sandal from a mile away which caused Ghost Maria and Shade to laugh
"Is he gonna be okay?" Himiko asked looking at the knocked-out shadow
"He'll be fine." Vanilla said before noticing eri "Oh hello little one."
"Why did you hit my papa?" Eri asked tilting her head
"Because his shenanigans led to my daughter vanishing for two whole days." Vanilla said
"Oh okay." Eri said, nodding
"Ack, my neck." Shadow said getting up
"Rouge! We need to go to G.U.N headquarters."
shadow ran over and picked up Eri
"Okay!" Rouge said
"let's go get some free time." Shadow said before he rouge and Omega (plus Himiko and Eri) left
"What are they doing?" Sonic asked
"I think they're going to get a maternity/ paternity leave." Tails said
"Will that work?" Sonic asked
"I don't know." Tails said, "Anyway I have to work on a dimension travel device."
When they arrived they were greeted by Commander Tower
"Ah team dark I see you've-" Commander Tower began before noticing Eri and Himiko "Where did you get those 2?"
"Woah it's so weird seeing Abe as an old guy." Ghost Maria said, "I still remember when he was younger."
"Well, Himiko is my daughter and Eri is Shadow's daughter." Rouge said
"I see..." Commander Tower said while thinking
"Also we want to take a leave." Shadow said "Being new parents and all."
"I understand." Commander Tower said "Enjoy parenthood. It's a tricky path but it is a rewarding one."
"Well I'm taking Himiko shopping I'll see you at the apartment okay?" Rouge said before she and Himiko left
Shadow stayed behind
"Agent Shadow, is there something else you wish to talk about?" Commander tower asked
"Maria's ghost is haunting me...Literally." Shadow said "She's been by my side for a few days now and has been giving me commentary. Only me and Eri can see her."
"You know you love my commentary." Ghost maria said
"I see." Tower said
"Can you tell him I'm proud of him?" Ghost maria asked
"She says she's proud of you." Shadow said
Commander Tower's eyes widened for a moment before he regained his composure
"Thank you. I try every day to protect the planet you loved so much." Commander tower said
"Good." Ghost maria said
"She said good." Shadow said
and with that shadow and Eri left
Soon they were on their way back to their apartment
When...
"Shadow is that you?" Amy Rose asked, "I haven't seen you in a while!"
"Hello, Rose." Shadow said, "It's nice to see you."
Amy then noticed Eri
"Oh, are you babysitting?" Amy asked
"No. this is my daughter, Eri." Shadow said
"Your what?" Amy asked
"Daughter. Is that so hard to believe?" Shadow asked
"Hello!" Eri said
Just then an explosion happened nearby
"What was that?" Shadow asked
"Let's go find out!" Amy said as they rushed over
They saw Team Chaotix fighting some Eggman bots when Metal Sonic showed up with Eggman
"Metal sonic attack!" Dr.Eggman said pointing at Espio
Metal Sonic lunged at the chameleon and knocked his sword out of his hand
Then Sonic showed up and kicked Metal off Espio
"Hey, egghead!" Sonic said
"Ah, sonic! Just who I was waiting for! Metal sonic attack!" Dr.Eggman said
But metal did not move
"Metal! I said attack!" Dr.Eggman said
then metal fell over with Eri stabbing Him with Espio's sword into his back before pulling a gun on Dr. Eggman
"Woah!" Both Sonic and Dr.Eggman said
"Don't do that!" Sonic said, "Without him things get boring!"
"And I like my head without bullets!" Dr. Eggman said
"Eri. Let him go." Shadow said
"Okay!" Eri said pulling the sword out and walking towards him
"Retreat!" Dr.Eggman said as his robots grabbed Metal Sonic and left
"Not bad kid!" Vector said
"That was so cool!" Charmy said
"Impressive." Espio said before holding his hand out for his sword
But Eri shook her head
"No. it's mine now." Eri said
"You heard her." Shadow said, "It's hers now."
"It's the law." Ghost maria said
Espio sighed
"Fine here's the sheath." Espio said, "Take good care of it."
"Okay! Bye bye!" Eri said before she and Shadow left
When they arrived back at the apartment Rouge Omega and Himiko were waiting for them
"Hey, you two!" Rouge said, "Where'd you get the sword?”
"She stole it from Espio after she used it to take out Metal Sonic." Shadow said
"She took down Metal Sonic!!?" Rouge asked
"I AM PROUD OF YOU NIECE." Omega said
"I'm not sure what a metal sonic is but it sounds impressive." Himiko said
"Anyway, I say we order pizza to celebrate!" Rouge said
"What's pizza?" Eri asked
everyone froze at that
"Eri I'm gonna blow your mind." Rouge said holding her phone
They enjoyed a delicious pizza and for the first time in a long time...
Shadow felt complete
