Summary
Your name is John Egbert and most of what you know about Dirk Strider has mostly been gathered from whispered rumors and the gushing words of his younger brother. He rides a motorbike your dad disapproved of, he had enough piercings to make him more metal than some of the robotics he studied at college, and you heard that he's banned from the local cinema for getting too heated with his ex-boyfriend in the back row.
Despite being best friends with his younger brother, you're fairly sure he doesn't even know your name. Until, one day you catch him looking your way, and he seems determined to convince you otherwise.
