“What are you thinking about?” Kumiko’s voice came out hoarse.
They were lying in bed — Reina’s bed — their fingers intertwined, legs atop one another, and faces merely inches apart from touching.
Reina is an enigma. She was quiet, and mysterious; only talking when needed and only saying enough.
But somehow she knew everything about Kumiko.
From what she wanted for lunch to her deepest, darkest secrets — Reina managed to pry it out of her so called “good-girl” skin.
She knows she wasn’t forced to; she actually wanted her to know. She wanted Reina to know what she had for lunch and what was bothering her the whole day. She wanted her to know what she thought of this, and that. She wanted to reveal herself to her — completely and bare.
“Whatever you’re thinking about.”
And maybe Reina wanted to do the same.
