   The movie, like the last and the one before that, is absolute shit. Earthworm man’s children are absolutely terrifying due to the combination of horrible CGI and the very badly hidden use of AI. It would have probably made his fifteen year old self leave the cinema. But when Nobara scoffs beside him at the ridiculousness of it all, the wrinkles around her mouth deepening with amusement, Yuji could not care less about any of that."

   After chapter 23 of Modulo, Nobara takes Yuji to the cinema to see Human Earth Worm 7 and it brings back memories. Yuji has a difficult decision to make.
