Summary
Frodo has failed, Middle Earth has fallen. The White Tree of Gondor, Rivendell and Lórien burn as the Dark Lord's fingers seized the continent in his cold iron grip. Elrond, Glorfindel and the Noldors may yet sail west to escape the clutches of Sauron, but there is no such path for the Silvan elves of the East, the children of Aulë and the race of men. Through the mercy of Eru Ilúvatar and the Valar, or perhaps a twist of fate, those who remained found themselves in another realm, whose men were as twisted and flawed as those who fell to Sauron, bereft of pride, honour and strength of the Númenóreans of old. The enemy will follow them, they can be certain of that, but will the same fate befall this new world? Or will there be a strength of arms great enough to vanquish the enemy and reclaim what once was?
