Time to Learn
Langdon returned a chart after Princess & Dr. Al-Hashimi came out of the deaf woman’s room.
“Is everything alright?” asking Princess as she comes back to the hub.
“I can sign a bit but not as well as our patient needs.”
- But you do sign?- Princess’ eyes go wide taking Langdon. “Nagkaroon ako ng oras para matuto.” (I had time to learn.)This get Perlah & Santos looking over at him. He grins like that cat that got the canary. “You meet all types in rehab. Do you mind if I go talk to our deaf patient?”
“I’ll get Dr Al-Hashimi.” Santos voices. This turns Landgon to face her. She sees a deer in the headlight look directed at her. “It’s here patient.” He nods to her wisdom.
“I’ll go wait for her.” Entering the room he begins to sign to the patient and gets her preliminary questions out of the way. Makes her comfortable to be in the ED.
She informs him of her symptoms and he is already diagnosing.
Dr. Al-Hashimi came in during the middle of the conversation.
“So what is your diagnosis?” She watches Langdon carefully. He proceeds to inform them both as they talk. Harlow Graham, listens to them intently and follows Frank’s hands relaxing that someone is finally talking to her. She is even grateful, especially when he stumbles on some words and uses some slang which has her laughing.
As they leave the room Frank makes sure Harlow has the call button to press if her symptoms gets worst.
“That was very impressive Dr. Langdon.” She voices as she hands the chart to Princess.
“Shkran lak,” Thank you, in Arabic. “Did I get it right?”
“You did,” Smiling wide. Then he notices her happy eyes look over his shoulder. The eyes go a little sad. Frank doesn't have to turn around to know who is glaring at him.
“I better get back to work,” he looks to princess. “Tawagan mo ako kapag bumalik na ang labs niya.” (Call me when her labs come back.) Before slapping the countertop to feel something and going back to work. His eyes flicker to Robby before moving along.
“Who knew he was a fast study.” Perlah voices which has Dana share a glance with Robby who just walks away.
