Work Text:
"The sunsets here are quite lovely here on Whale Island."
Mito turned to see Palm, watching the sun starting to dip to below the horizon. She had watched the sunrise earlier that day, a sort of morning ritual in a way.
"That's very true, never a dull sight." Mito agreed, sitting right by Palm on the grassy plain. "Especially by the waters, near the ocean."
Palm hummed in agreement. "Yes, they're so distant, and yet, they're close by in a way."
Mito stilled, only for a moment. "Hmm, I can't say I've ever thought of that."
Palm shook her head. "Neither have I, until now."
They then laughed softly, Palm's voice like a song, and a song Mito wanted to hear more, as the sunset made way for the night.
