Madison is a 19 year old girl who has recently graduated high school. When she was about 11 to 12 years old, she discovered the concept of a fictional place called the Backrooms: an urban legend based on liminal spaces that are endless with no escape route. She was fascinated mainly by the aesthetic, but also the overall concept.
At 13 to 15 years old, her interest in the Backrooms grew. As a teenager with an interest in the Backrooms, she did research on them, and learned about the concept of 'no-clipping.' No-clipping is the primary method used to enter the Backrooms. Supposedly, if you slam into a surface hard enough, you can no-clip, or 'glitch out of reality.'
Learning this, Madison got...inspired, if you will. She wanted to see the Backrooms for herself. She learned a lot about the Backrooms, doing years of research, with a mere dream of actually entering the Backrooms one day.
