Summary
Waking up after almost dying in that final battle, Tony had still held hope. Hope that everything would go back to normal. But the world had gone to hell in a handbasket, no matter how much he’d tried to convince himself that with undoing the ‘Snap’ everything would go back to how it was supposed to be.
Nothing had gone back to normal.
During the time half of the universe’s population had been gone, people had grieved and moved on. Infrastructure had vanished and changed, and after having to deal with the loss of their soulmarks - no matter if their soulmate was still alive and by their side or not - humanity now had to adjust to a brand new soulmark system on top of it all.
