   Shelby has always been a curious child, everyone has always said that. Maybe she was a bit too curious, I mean, what is she thinking? Walking up to a vampire’s lair after he asked her for a chat? The vampire who turned her no less. They hesitated as they thought to call out for him. Was this the right choice? She hadn’t chosen to be a vampire, she should feel repulsed and horrified, she should feel an untameable rage directed at Scott for turning her. So why didn't she?
