Work Text:

Kim Soleum held a hand up to his nose with his face contorted in grimace. Agent Choi, who stood right behind him, leaned closer towards the other and asked with visible concern, “Are you doing alright?”

Although Kim Soleum hadn’t said anything about himself after they both had been pulled into this ghost story together, it was obvious to anyone that he didn’t look too good.

“I’m okay…“ Kim Soleum paused, feeling a warm hand gently touch his forehead.

“Why is your body so cold?” Agent Choi frowned, moving his hand down to cup the other’s cheek. Before Kim Soleum could even react properly, his hand had already moved down to his neck.

“Agent—“ Kim Soleum grew flustered, tilting his head to the side as he tried to escape from the ticklish feeling of Agent Choi’s touch. “Maybe— Maybe your hands are just too warm…?” He said it in a way to reassure the other that he was fine but truly, Kim Soleum did feel as if Agent Choi was too warm.

His touch was burning— Kim Soleum thought that he might melt just from it.

“No, I’m sure that your body is cold.” Kim Soleum’s breath hitched as Agent Choi leaned closer towards him. Their faces were only inches apart from one another with the agent’s warm hand still resting on the back of his neck. From how close they were, Kim Soleum could catch a whiff of a strange scent.

The scent was definitely coming from Agent Choi. He was sure that it wasn’t the usual cologne he wore, it was something different— something pleasant. It was a scent that he couldn’t help but want to continue chasing.

As he tried to avoid the other agent’s intense gaze, Kim Soleum’s eyes suddenly landed on the scar of his neck. More specifically, he was looking at Agent Choi’s neck. It had nothing to do with the scar.

“Grapes? Are you okay?” Agent Choi’s voice rang throughout his ears, snapping him out of his momentary daze. He looked up, locking eyes with the man in front of him and swallowed dryly in an attempt to get rid of the itching feeling at the back of his throat.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Kim Soleum shook his head and said, “I’m really fine…”

“Should we find somewhere to rest?” Agent Choi asked, removing the hand on Kim Soleum’s neck. The junior agent turned stiff and reached out a hand to tug the fabric of Agent Choi’s jacket.

“Let’s continue exploring.” He said firmly. “… I want to leave this place quickly.” This wasn’t simply just an excuse. Kim Soleum thought that this uncomfortable feeling would never go away if they didn’t leave soon.

Agent Choi nodded without hesitation and held onto Kim Soleum’s wrist.

“Stay close, okay?”

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

Agent Choi swiftly wiped the blood off his cheek, ignoring the burning pain coming from the open wounds that were all over his body. Quickly, he rushed over to Kim Soleum with a worried look on his face.

“Are you hurt anywhere?”

Kim Soleum was just about to answer when a strong scent suddenly invaded his nose, causing him to immediately stumble backwards with a hand shooting up to cover half of his face. The uncomfortable itching feeling at the back of his throat returned as he narrowed his eyes at Agent Choi.

“Grapes?” Agent Choi took a step forward causing Kim Soleum to retreat. “What’s wrong?” He frowned, taking a few steps further towards the other. Kim Soleum continued to hastily retreat backwards until his back eventually hit a wall behind him.

Faced with a confused agent in front of him and nowhere left to run, he started to panic.

“I— I don’t know what’s wrong with me either…” Kim Soleum was breathing heavily with his unfocused eyes glancing up and down at the man in front of him. When his gaze landed on the open cut on Agent Choi’s cheek, Kim Soleum gulped and harshly bit down onto his lower lip.

He let out a soft wince and pulled away the hand that was covering half of his face. Blood immediately gushed down, dripping onto his chin, alarming Agent Choi who wasted no time cupping his cheek in worry.

“You’re hurt!”

Kim Soleum’s eyes widened. That scent only got stronger once Agent Choi stepped closer to him which only sent his mind into a wave of frenzy. Without thinking, he licked his blood stained lips, tasting the strangely sweet fluid that fueled a strong desire within him.

He wanted to bite Agent Choi.

Once Kim Soleum realised this thought, he became startled, slapping the agent’s hand that was reaching out towards him.

“I’m… I'm sorry….” He quickly apologised and covered his mouth again.

“No.” Agent Choi held onto Kim Soleum’s wrist tightly. “Tell me what’s wrong.”

“…” Kim Soleum only looked away in silence, refusing to speak.

“Grapes.” Agent Choi called out softly but his tone was firm. “You’ll tell me what’s wrong and we can fix this together. What am I supposed to do if you keep silent about your issues, hm?” After hearing the agent’s nonstop reassurance, Kim Soleum’s tensed body slowly eased up a little.

“I…”

How should he describe his condition?

“Earlier you were attacked by vampire looking monsters and…” Kim Soleum’s throat went dry as he continued. “This ghost story is about vampires.” His words were vague, as if he was only hinting at something instead of revealing the full truth. Still, Agent Choi was able to catch on almost immediately.

His expression shifted into one that Kim Soleum couldn’t quite recognise.

“Remove your hand. Let me see your mouth.” Kim Soleum was hesitant at first but slowly gave in, removing the hand that was covering his mouth. “Part your lips.” Again, he did as he was told to, slightly parted his lips.

At that moment, Agent Choi rolled up one of his sleeves before holding his wrist to Kim Soleum’s lips. The reaction came quicker than he anticipated. Kim Soleum was hit with a wave of dizziness. The overwhelming urge to sink his teeth into the flesh in front of him led him to part his lips even more, briefly revealing a set of pointed fangs that did not go unnoticed under the watchful gaze of Agent Choi’s sharp eyes.

“A-agent….. Please move away…” Kim Soleum mumbled with his hands tightly clenched into fists as he tried to fight off the desire that only became stronger as each second passed.

Instead of doing as he’d been requested to, Agent Choi moved an inch closer, practically pressing their bodies against each other. He moved the wrist that had been held to his lips and gently held Kim Soleum’s chin, forcing him to look up and lock eyes with him.

“Does it hurt a lot?”

“…. Huh?”

“I mean, isn’t it uncomfortable?”

Kim Soleum still wasn’t sure what he meant by that.

“If it’s uncomfortable to keep going like this then…” Agent Choi suddenly let go of his chin and swiftly took his jacket off, throwing it onto the floor. Without wasting another second, he loosened his shirt collar and pulled it down, revealing his bare collarbones before continuing, “Why don’t you bite me?”

Kim Soleum was stunned speechless.

“What? You…” His gaze flickered between Agent Choi and his bare neck, constantly gulping as he did so. It was a tempting offer— an offer that he hesitated in refusing.

This wasn’t normal.

He shouldn’t indulge in these desires.

Kim Soleum frantically shook his head with his eyes shut. If he continues to look it’ll only make the urge worse.

He shouldn’t look.

He shouldn’t consider it.

He shouldn’t think about Agent Choi’s neck.

He shouldn’t think about sinking his teeth into that skin.

He shouldn’t think about how the blood would ooze out— how he’d taste the sweetness of the warm fluid running down his throat.

He shouldn’t—

Kim Soleum’s eyes blew wide open. He breathed heavily, clutching onto his chest. No matter how hard he seemed to try, these desires wouldn’t go away. It was especially harder to get rid of them when Agent Choi was right there; he was right in front of him and even offered his neck to him.

“Why— Why are you okay with this?”

Please just move away.

Agent Choi held onto his shoulder, his warm hand brushing against Kim Soleum’s neck causing him to shudder in response.

“Why would I not be?” He stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Grapes, I don’t mind you biting me if it means you’ll no longer avoid me.”

“But…”

But I’d have to bite you.

“If it hurts, I’ll push you away. Sounds good?”

Kim Soleum gulped.

Don’t give in. Don’t give in. Don’t give in. Don’t give in. Don’t—

“Okay.”

If his senior said so then everything would be fine, right?

Slowly, Kim Soleum moved towards Agent Choh with his gaze intensely fixated on the other’s neck. He could feel Agent Choi’s warm breath tickling his ear as they got closer. With his lips hovering over the other’s beck, Kim Soleum's heart started to beat uncontrollably. He realized that this was the first time he’d ever seen the agent’s scar up close.

All of a sudden, there was a flash of hesitation.

Almost as if his emotions had been sensed, Agent Choi’s hand that was resting on the back of his neck moved, gently pushing Kim Soleum’s head down in encouragement.

“Are you nervous?” He laughed in a teasing manner with his other arm moving to wrap itself around Kim Soleum’s waist, pulling his body closer.

Kim Soleum’s head was now buried into Agent Choi’s neck with his body firmly pressed against the other as he was tightly embraced. Being this close to his senior agent— it was driving him crazy. He brushed his lips on Agent Choi’s skin, taking in the pleasant scent of blood.

Agent Choi leaned closer towards his ears and whispered, “Go on.”

Those two words were all that he needed to hear. It was as if a switch inside of Kim Soleum had been flipped. He parted his lips and easily sunk his fangs into the soft flesh. Immediately, blood gushed out, dripping down Agent Choi’s collarbones.

“Ah…” Agent Choi quietly hissed, tilting his head to the side with a dazed expression.

Having his junior drinking blood off of his neck like this…. it really didn’t feel too bad.

He swallowed, licking his lips with a small smile and gently caressed the back of Kim Soleum’s neck to soothe him.

“You’ve been holding it for a long time, haven’t you?” He coos, ignoring the wave of dizziness that assaulted him. “My Grapes can drink as much as he likes.”

Kim Soleum desperately drank his blood. The thick fluid flowed down, burning his throat in ecstasy. It was sweeter than he’d imagined— way better than what he could ever ask for. It was satisfying, being able to quench his thirst with blood that tasted this good.

He couldn’t help but want more— more of Agent Choi’s blood.

Just then, there was a soft squeeze at the back of his neck.

Kim Soleum paused as if he’d just come to his senses at that moment. He removed his teeth with a string of blood mixed with saliva still connected to the bite wound. With his head still clouded, he couldn’t help but lean down to lick the excess blood off the wound.

“…”

The more he continued to stare at the bite wound in front of him, the more aware he became.

“This—“

Did he really just do that?

Kim Soleum licked his lips. The sweetness of blood still lingered on his tongue but his mind was now clear as day.

“Agent Choi—“

He was suddenly pulled up and before he could even react, a pair of lips crashed into his own. Kim Soleum’s surprised gasp was swallowed by the other’s rough kiss. Agent Choi bit down onto his lips, prying it open just enough for him to slip his tongue inside. Without even letting Kim Soleum breathe, he continued to press their lips together and embraced him even tighter.

Kim Soleum placed a hand on Agent Choi’s chest but couldn’t find the strength to push him away. A part of him wanted to pull away but just like the taste of blood that lingered on his lips, the kiss was addicting. It fulfilled another kind of desire buried deep within him.

A few moments later, Agent Choi pulled away. The two of them tried to catch up with their own breaths, breathing heavily with their foreheads pressed against one another’s.

“It tastes sweet.” Agent Choi muttered. “Is it because of your lips?”

Kim Soleum couldn’t answer. The agent’s face in front of him was flushed but he was sure that it wasn’t as flushed as his right now.

Agent Choi held onto his cheek and continued, “You’re warm now.”

Was he?

“I… I guess I’m no longer contaminated?”

“Hm….” Agent Choi seemed to be thinking rather deeply. “Let’s check again.” He traced his fingers along Kim Soleum’s red lips and tilted his head to the side, revealing his exposed neck once more.

“Sunbae-nim?? What is wrong with you?!” Kim Soleum shouted in shock with his senior agent’s laugh echoing through his ears.
