   Summary

   Keith took a deep breath before speaking up again, “Didn’t I fucking tell you to disappear?”

   At that Lance’s heart – the one that he only just seemed to have glued back – shattered.

   “I-I just-”

   “No! LEAVE! You are NOT him! He was there for me! And you…” he exhaled, “Honestly, who do you think you are? Did you think I’ll just wait for you forever? That I’ll sit patiently and wait for you to finally pull out the stick you have up your ass, and…”

   Lance didn’t know what to say, and so he didn’t. Keith on the other hand went on.

    

   “All I want from you, is to disappear! You are not Shiro. You will never be half the man he ever was.”

   The boy pushed himself up and out of Lance’s arms. And Lance let him go.

   Alternatively : Lance and Keith are childhood friends but they got separated for 5 years. A misunderstanding makes it so their next encounter isn't sweet. It isn't even bittersweet. It's just bitter. So, so bitter. Keith is angry,. And Lance is confused and hurt, which leads him to make some... questionable decisions. Get ready for Angst. There are some referenced deaths and bullying. It's not explicit, but if you're not comfortable with it be careful.
