    Rain-slick streets, neon lights, and dangerous speed keep dragging Sonic and Shadow back into each other’s orbit. They race through empty highways and slip into dim bars like they never planned to meet, but they always do. It’s nothing serious, just heat, fun, and enough to take the edge off, but their hands linger too long, their eyes hold too much, and every touch feels like it means something else. They don't realize they’re slowly becoming addicted to the rush of each other’s presence. Sonic laughs it off, Shadow plays it cool, but neither wants to leave.

    They don’t need love or promises, they just need each other for a little longer.
