    Summary

The 34th Korean Squidgames are over. They made it out alive, but how do they move on?
Gi-hun certainly doesn’t know how to. It has been eight months since the island. The rebellion. The explosions. How they escaped, missing people dear to them who didn’t make it out alive. At least, that’s what Gi-hun thought.
Life after is a blur, making Gi-hun’s life pointless. Even though he has a forged family around him, people that care about him, he’s lost in guilt and loneliness. Up until one rainy night. When an old friend shows up. Someone who was supposed to be a ghost. Who should have stayed a ghost.
For a heartbeat, neither of them moved. Then the man lifted his head, making his face fully visible directly under the streetlights.

Gi-hun’s breath catches in his throat. That face. Paler than he remembered. Eyes sunken, haunted even. But it was him.
    “…Young-il?”

A story about how two men, who chose different paths, eventually find each other through the forest of guilt and betrayal. Getting their lives entwined up to the point they can’t live without each other.
