Summary
It was the summer of 1926, the summer when a lightning strike detonating over a million pounds of explosives in New Jersey would be the second most devastating event of the year for humanity. The most devastating would occur in New Orleans in June, and it would make so much less noise that it would go unnoticed by the entire population of Earth save the two people participating in it.
