Summary
In 1998, Mary and Nathaniel Wesninski disappeared from their home without a trace. Not one the police could sniff out, anyway. Mary's alpha was a different beast all together; a beast they called the Butcher.
Mary spent the rest of her days teaching her son how to run, how to hide, and how to be anyone but himself. And when he presented at thirteen, she taught him how to suppress his omega instincts too. But, in the end, none of her tricks had been enough to keep the Butcher off her trail.
In 2005, a son buried his mother and kept moving like she had made him promise to do.
