December 7th - "Where on Earth did you get that sweater?"

Summary:

Prompt 20: "Where on Earth did you get that sweater?"

You stop by Seb's house to visit him and he's wearing the ugliest Winter Star sweater you've ever seen in your life. Suggestive making out and partial undressing ensues.

His birthday is mentioned, Winter 10, and I know it's the 7th but pretend it's like the 16 of Winter today (specifically Tuesday).

I genuinely had no idea what I was going to write when I saw this prompt. Literally when I planned it, all I had was that Robin got Seb a really hilariously bad Christmas sweater. So I decided to make it freaky for absolutely no reason. ¬‿¬

DISCLAIMER: These prompts are from a tumblr prompt list linked here.

Work Text:

Your boots crunch in the snow as you make your way along the forest path to Seb's house, clutching your iPad tight to your chest, sheltering it from the falling snow with your coat. In late Fall, he'd asked for your help with some graphic design for one of his jobs. The Pelican Town Joja branch was redesigning a certain page of their website for the Eve of the Winter Star, and they hired him to do it. Unfortunately, Seb isn't the most artistically talented, and since you've always loved digital art and graphic design, and it's something you're quite good at, you jumped at the chance to help Seb, and spend more time with him. Despite his introverted nature, he seems to be inclined to your company, and you to him. Neither of you are the most social human beings ever, having your friends but prioritizing your solitude, but your personalities compliment each other and you mesh well nonetheless.

You enter the house, not too hard since Seb told you he'd leave the door unlocked for you. Robin is out, taking her aerobics class since it's a Tuesday, and Demetrius is nowhere to be seen, presumably out collecting winter specimens. Maru is parked in the kitchen, studying a microscope intently. She looks up when you enter with a big smile, gesturing loosely to the basement.

"Down in his room," she informs you with a smirk. "You didn't hear this from me, but he's been coming upstairs and peeking through the window every five minutes." You laugh softly, a blush forming in your cheeks. How sweet. You pad downstairs and knock gently on his door.

"Hey, come in," you hear Seb call, so you push open the door and slip inside. He's typing furiously at his computer, and when you come around his desk to see him, a laugh breaks out unbidden.

He's dressed in simply the ugliest Winter Star sweater you have ever seen in your life. The wool looks itchy even from a distance, the patterns are garish at best, and the colours clash so badly it's hard to look at.

Seb's face twists into an embarrassed frown, tugging nervously at the hem of the distractingly bright sweater.

"Hi. Um... Where on Earth did you get that sweater?" you ask incredulously, stifling more laughter. He just rolls his eyes, pushing his desk chair away from his desk with a sigh.

"My mom gave it to me for my birthday. She asked if I'd worn it yet before she left for aerobics... and I felt bad saying no, so I put it on, and then kind of forgot to take it off," he admits with a sheepish smile. "I know, it's the most horrendous thing to ever disgrace the planet."

You giggle and move to stand next to his desk, clicking your iPad on and flicking through to your designs. You lay the tablet on his desk shyly, hoping he'll like your art. To your surprise and happiness, his eyes light up as he takes in your creations, looking ecstatic.

"These are really awesome, thank you," he tells you, looking the most excited you've ever seen him. "Can you send them to me?" You nod and quickly send off the logos to him, smiling pleasantly as he downloads them onto his computer and speedily imports them onto the half finished website. The page looks much more put together with your art, you notice with a happy flutter in your chest, especially since Seb is so grateful and appreciative. It warms your heart.

"They match your sweater," you joke with a teasing grin, and he groans, covering his face with his hands.

"...I could just take it off if it's really that bad," he mumbles, face clearly tomato-red between his fingers, and you lean against his desk, chuckling.

"Only if you want to. It looks exceptionally uncomfortable," you point out, and Seb shrugs, tugging the sweater off casually in one easy motion, tossing it onto his bed.

You don't even see where it lands, however, because your gaze is fixed on Seb's upper half. Which is very, very naked. The two of you stare at each other in awkward silence, both your cheeks a fiery red. He slowly tucks his arms around his midsection, dropping his gaze to the floor.

"I... genuinely forgot I didn't put a shirt on under this," he mutters after a silent moment. You blink, lips curving into a shy smile that belies the heat currently flooding your body. He's really, really hot. It's sort of sending both your brain and your heart into overdrive. You bite your lower lip, trying and failing to keep your eyes from roaming his torso, taking in every angle. He's lean but not skinny, fit but not muscly, with the teeniest little paunch at his stomach that he's fumbling to cover. It's so incredibly endearing. You suck in a slow breath, attempting to get over the awkwardness, because it's clear that Seb is slightly ashamed of his body, and you're desperate to prove that he shouldn't be.

"...It's fine," you murmur, no longer hiding the way your stare glides over the dip where his skin covers his hip. His skin looks soft and a little too touchable. Shit. "The view is pretty nice," you confess with a half-smile, and Seb literally stops breathing. Like he just goes statue still, his already red cheeks turning steadily darker to a lovely shade of crimson. It contrasts extremely with his otherwise pale skin.

"I..." He trails off, swallowing hard. "Thanks." You shift closer, still leaning against the edge of his desk, and his eyes are riveted to you. "Please kiss me," he pleads under his breath, just barely loud enough for you to hear, and oh God, yes please. In a clumsy flurry of movement and bodies, you're tangled up in his lap, hands wandering his exposed top, touching every bit of skin they can reach, and Seb is literally squirming underneath you, his body trembling with nerves and need. You pause just a hairsbreadth away from his lips and he nudges his mouth against yours, so desperate it leaves you breathless. Your hands tighten on his hips, thumbs rubbing mindless little circles on the warm skin there as you kiss. He lets out a choked gasp, hands fisting in the back of your shirt like he's dying. His desk chair creaks ominously under the combined weight, but it seems like it'll hold for now, so you don't let up. Seb sucks your bottom lip into his mouth and you gasp, pressing your body closer. You can feel the muscles in his abdomen jumping and twitching underneath you, vigorously trying to hold himself back.

You dip your fingertips just barely under his sweats, feeling how heated the sensitive skin is there, and Seb whimpers. Seriously, loud enough for Maru to yell a teasing "Ew, shut up!" down the stairs. You break away from each other with a dazed laugh on both ends before you slump against him with a content sigh.

"We should do this more often," Seb whispers into your hair and you smile, shifting your weight on his lap to get more comfortable. A tiny whine escapes Seb and he instantly copies you, adjusting his hips under you to take the pressure off, his sweatpants suddenly a little too tight in the front.

Oops.

Notes:

Ehehe that went a little sideways, sorry. Is it obvious that I like writing guys as awkward/shy/vocal/bottom yet?

Here's a link to the art I did, it's the logo that reader supplies Seb with for his Joja website:
