Summary:

Social media AU that follows Peter, Wade, and Miles as they go about their lives, until Deadpool starts to notice some of Peter’s skills, and a deal is made.

Notes:

I’ve never posted something like this before, but I LOVE reading them and I make these on occasion for my ocs, it’s such a fun way to get to know characters and hear their voices :) The formatting is giving me a bit of trouble, I hope you'll bear with me lol.

First chapter is background knowledge and each individual chapter can sort of be read as an "episode" with the plot ramping up as we go along. Try not to look too hard at the time stamps, I tried to keep the posts reasonably spaced but the hours at which I did them were a little wonky.

  • getting his masters in biochemical engineering, sells photos to the Daily Bugle, AND finds time to hero. very overworked
  • is known as the spidey photographer, has a little clout for it

Spider-Man:

  • secretly Peter Parker
  • very popular
  • uses perfect capitalization and grammar on this account
  • MUCH bolder with the mask on. shameless flirt and attention whore
  • quite fond of Deadpool despite himself
  • sort of mentors Miles/Black Spider

Deadpool:

  • mid 30s
  • not family friendly
  • HUGE crush on Spidey that he’s not even trying to hide
  • doesn’t kill anymore, but will maim
  • jealous of the attention spidey gives to everyone else
  • chronic pain, whines about it publicly
  • overuses emojis

Miles' Profile

Miles Morales/ Black Spider:

  • still in high school
  • rookie, helps Spidey out when needed, sometimes takes over patrols
  • pretty chill, likes to laugh. sometimes riles up JJJ for fun (but tbh, who doesn’t)

JJJ's Profile

J. Jonah Jameson:

  • 40s
  • head of the Daily Bugle and runs the twitter like it’s his personal facebook
  • barely technically literate
  • hates vigilantes even though it’s mostly just a grudge/principle at this point
  • employs Peter Parker, thinks he’s alright but will never admit that
