   “You should try to seduce him,” Furlan says offhandedly, not even bothering to keep his voice down.
   Levi almost spits out his tea. To his left, Isabel laughs so hard she’s about to fall off her chair. Scanning the crowded mess hall, Levi tries to assess if anyone has been listening in. He needn't have worried; the rest of the Survey Corps still avoid their table like the plague.
   “I should do what, now?” he hisses, leaning closer.

   Set during the events of A Choice with No Regrets, this story follows Levi as he tries to acclimatize to his new life in the Survey Corps, carry out his mission on behalf of the corrupt nobleman Lobov, and navigate his growing closeness to the man who plucked him and his friends from the Underground—Erwin Smith; the man he’s been contracted to kill.
